CHIEF OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Rear Admiral Zakariyyah Shaku Muhammad was born in Lavun Local Government Area in Niger on 20 January 1968 and was enlisted into Nigerian Defence Academy 12 September 1987 as a member of 39th Regular Course. On successful completion of training at the Nigerian Defence Academy, he was granted Presidential Commission into the Nigerian Navy as a Sub Lieutenant on 19 September 1992. Rear Muhammad has served in various capacities on board several ships in the Nigerian Navy.
