On Friday 30 August 2024, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was at Navy Town, Ojo, to inspect some ongoing projects. During the visit, the CNS and his entourage inspected the new 12 blocks of 24 houses under construction at the erstwhile “ECOMOG” quarters site. The construction of new accommodation to replace the previous ones is making good progress.

The CNS also visited the newly remodeled Vice Admiral  Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla Multi Purpose Hall. The hall was remodelled by the Commander Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) WEY, Commodore MM Braimah.

Additionally, the CNS went to NOWA Primary School which was recently renovated by the Commander NNS BEECROFT, Commodore RT Oladejo.
