1. Rear Admiral (R Adm) Kennedy Chukwuemeka Ezete was born
   on 17 Jan 1968 at Joint Hospital Achi Oji River LGA of Enugu State. He had his Primary Education at Azuiyiowu Urban School Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Ishingwu Primary School Umunze and Primary School Ufuma both in Orumba South LGA of Anambra State. His Secondary Education was at Bishop Crowther Junior Seminary Awka and higher school at Federal Government College Enugu.
2. The Admiral was admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna
   in 1987 as a member of 39 Regular Course and was commissioned into the Nigerian Navy as a Sub-Lieutenant in September 1992. He attended his Sub Technical Course and Officers Specialization Course where he specialized in Navigation and Direction at NNS QUORRA Apapa, Lagos in 1993 and 2002 respectively. He had his Basic Military Police Course in year 2000 at Nigerian Army School of Military Police Basawa, Zaria. Kennedy was at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji for his Junior and Senior Staff Course in 2001 and 2005 respectively. The Admiral holds a Bachelors of Art Degree in History and a Masters Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies (MSc), from Nigerian Defence Academy. The senior officer also holds another Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from University of Ibadan and he is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management.
3. In the course of his career R Adm Ezete has served onboard several ships in the NN in different capacities. He also served as Provost Officer at Nigerian Navy Engineering School Sapele and Armed Forces Resettlement Centre Oshodi. He was an instructor at Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna, Chief Instructor Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulating School, Navigating Officer NNS ERINOMI, Executive Officer NNS ZARIA, Staff Officer 1 Procurement DHQ, Executive Officer Naval Unit Abuja and Commanding Officer FOB ESCRAVOS. He also served as Deputy Commandant Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Onne, Deputy Director Plans at Naval Headquarters, Deputy Director Earth Observation at Defence Space Administration, Provost Martial Nigerian Navy, Director Transformation at Naval Headquarters, Director Project Monitoring at Defence Headquarters and currently the Chief of Administration at the Naval Headquarters among others.

4. The Admiral is a recipient of many medals and wards among them are ECOMOG Medal, Nigerian Centinary Medal, Operation Harmony Medal, Distinguish Service Star and General Service Star Awards among others. He is a fellow of National Defence College.

5. Rear Admiral KC Ezete is married with 2 children and he enjoys farming, water activities, reading and watching documentaries.
