Rear Admiral Omotola Olutayo Olukoya Was born on 3 June 1972 and hails from Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State. He was enlisted into the Nigerian Navy as a member of the 42nd Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna where he graduated with Bachelor of Science (Economics) in 1995. Upon his graduation from NDA, Omotola attended several military courses some of which include; Sub Technical Course, Basic Accounts and Budget Officers’ Course, Junior Staff Course, Senior Staff Course and National Defence College. Rear Admiral Olukoya has held several appointments some of which are; Staff Officer (SO) Computer NN Central Pay Office, Director of Budget Naval Headquarters, Director NN Non Public Fund, Director Finance and Accounts Defence Intelligent Agency and General Manager Nigerian Navy Micro-Finance Bank. Other appointments held by the senior officer are Commandant Nigerian Navy College of Finance and Accounts Owerrinta, Director of Navy Pension Military Pension Board, Deputy Director Transformation Naval Headquarters and Commander Central Pay Office. He is currently the Chief of Accounts and Budget Naval Headquarters. Rear Admiral Olukoya is a member of the following professional bodies; Fellow Chartered Institute of Economics, Fellow Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Fellow Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and management, Fellow Certified National Accountant and Fellow Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria. Others are Member Nigerian Institute of Management, Member Chattered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Certified Forensic Accountant, and Member Chartered Institute of Public Accountants. Omotola is married and the union is blessed with children. The senior officer hobbies include creative writing and observing nature.
